My alter-ego had a lotta fun last year doing a Lemonade Stand ... ooops LIMEADE stand - don't want to make the Big Green Guy angry! ;-)

Being a scientist, I decided to take it up a notch this year and broadcast it live on the Internet via three webcams. I've also enabled X10 powerline controls so surfers can turn stuff on & off. It's online NOW (with a "lemonade stand" in my basement) so people can check it out - turning the groovy lava lamp on & off seems to be the favorite.

All profits will be donated to celiac disease research. While we made a whopping $9 last year, my hope is this year there might be more donations (especially online) as people can view and control stuff via the Internet.

"It's not my illustration (it's by Dale Keown), but I also didn't just put a paper on top of the comic, but drew it on my own in free-style! Then guess what -- I won the first prize in a comic book shop contest, but they changed the prize award time to one hour earlier and I MISSED MY PRIZE. When I entered the comic shop all people were staring at me whispering, "is this the guy..?" and when I asked the boss what's up, he told me my prize had been given to the second winner, and I got some cheap comic book I already owned!!!!! Worst day of my life, seriously ;)"

So as part of that stamped concrete patio there was some concrete edging done. It's supposed to be level with the ground, but as can be seen below, the contractors didn't do too good of job. Maybe I can get the Big Green Guy out of the basement crawlspace to smash it down for me ... ;-)

Looks like my Big Green Alter-Ego showed up at this lemonade stand. Read more at that link, but it appears I'll need to buy yet another pair of purple pants. While the picture is funny, it's no fun waking up after transforming back to human form and your clothes are not just ripped, but gone.
